Sensory bins are extremely beneficial to our children these days but what are they? A sensory bin usually contains a base of rice, pasta, sand, water beads, corn kernels, beans or water. Within these bases we can place items such as fine motor tools, figurines, pom pom balls, gem stones, and a variety of other small to medium objects for our children to play with or learn from. Sensory bins are great for tactile learning while also engaging their senses!
